Summary

"The Devil in Iron" by Robert E. Howard is a gripping fantasy novel where Conan, a leader of Kozaks, finds himself embroiled in a dangerous game of survival upon the island of Xapur. The trouble begins when an ancient god, Khosatral Khel, is awakened from his resting place, bringing back a dead city and dark magic with him. Conan navigates treacherous plots involving the capture of a Nemedian noblewoman and the schemes of a deceitful lord while battling twisted creatures and sorcery. Conan's journey is an intense struggle against not only the iron god himself but also the dark forces threatening to consume the land, full of bravery and the raw clash between savagery and culture, set within the fierce Hyborian Age.
