Vengeance From the Past

"Vengeance From the Past" by Robert W. Krepps is a science fiction story about a hidden group of Neanderthals who want to get revenge on humanity. The story follows Ray Rollins after he learns that he comes from an ancient line. His cousin, Bill Cuff, tells him they are both Neanderthals and want to take back the world for their people, the Old Companions. Cuff plans to steal a space station that was created by Ray's brother, Howard. Ray has to deal with the dangerous Cuff and the Old Companions. He also needs to protect his pregnant wife, Nessa. The story ends in a big fight on the space station. Ray has to face the dangers of his ancestors to save people and make sure his child has a future, dealing with hard ideas about who we are, where we come from, and the instincts that make us human.
