Summary

"Walls of Acid" by Henry Hasse is an exciting science fiction story set in a time when people were really interested in space and new tech, telling the story of a civilization called the Diskrans who were super advanced but messed up big time. It's all about what happens when you don't take a small enemy seriously, when the Diskrans, living on the planet Diskra, face a huge problem because of a species they thought was nothing, the Termans. The story is told by Braanol, a super smart brain floating in liquid, who explains how his planet went downhill because Palladin, the emperor's crazy brother, messed with the Termans' genes and turned them into a major threat. As the Termans get smarter and stronger, the Diskrans have to come up with new inventions and plan to leave their planet, with Braanol working hard to save their history and warn others about the dangers of scientific experiments gone wrong, teaching everyone to watch out for hidden dangers and unchecked science.
