Summary

"Thirsty Blades" by Otis Adelbert Kline is an early 20th-century fantasy novel about Saidi Rankin, previously known as Abdemon, embarking on a mission to keep a promise sworn to him by King Solomon, all in the hopes of reuniting with his love, Azizah. Rankin bravely battles Iblis, the Dark Prince, and devil-worshippers led by Zantut in Kurdistan as they attempt to harness the Dark Prince's power on the night of the 14th of Nisan. His journey is full of perilous battles, supernatural events and a duel with Iblis, and incorporates aspects of reincarnation and a medieval fight between good and evil.
