Summary

"The Passing of Morocco" by Frederick Ferdinand Moore is a recounting of the author’s time as a journalist during a shaky period in Morocco when France was trying to gain control. Moore shares his observations of the region, diving into what life was like then, the fights between different tribes, and the effects of countries taking over other lands. The story starts with Moore's trip to Morocco and his excitement about witnessing the upcoming conflicts. He talks about the relationships between different groups, like Muslims and Europeans, and paints a clear picture of his arrival in Tangier. To finish up, the initial segments establish the scene for the events as they unfold, mentioning the blend of action and trouble that looks ahead while thoroughly describing the environment and local characters he meets as he goes about his time in that region.
