Summary

"What Will He Do with It? — Volume 07" by Edward Bulwer Lytton is a story set in a time of strict rules and expectations, following the life of Guy Darrell as he navigates the tricky world of love with three very different women: the smart Honoria Vipont, the lovely Lady Adela, and the lively Flora Vyvyan. The book starts with a conversation between Darrell and Colonel Alban Morley, who talk about what makes a good match, showing their different ideas about love and relationships. As they ride, they look at young women and think about what it means to find a partner. The story hints at Darrell's worries about getting older, being attractive, and what others expect from him. It seems that the book is interested in exploring personal connections and the changes that come with time and ambition, setting the scene for a dramatic tale of love and choices.
