Summary

"The Foreign Tour of Messrs. Brown, Jones and Robinson" by Richard Doyle is a funny story about three friends who take a trip through Europe in the 1800s, visiting places like Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, and Italy. Through drawings and words, the book shows the funny troubles they have as they deal with lost bags, not understanding the locals, and strange new customs. Brown, Jones, and Robinson, each showing different parts of British life, visit famous sites and find themselves in silly situations, making fun of what it was like to travel back then and the differences between what they expected and what really happened.
