Summary

"Thief of Mars" by Henry Hasse is a sci-fi adventure set in a volatile space filled with interplanetary pirates, where Ron Jordan embarks on a risky mission to vindicate his brother's name. Amidst the lawless pirate haven located on Ceres, Ron disguises himself as a common laborer, navigating treachery and danger as he hunts for the vessel that wrongfully implicated Carl in smuggling. The story escalates to a tense confrontation between Ron and the deceitful Martian captain Tarnuff aboard a spaceship teeming with deadly Silicytes, metal-eating creatures that pose an imminent threat. With time running out and the Patrol closing in, Ron must outwit his enemies and secure the evidence needed to free his brother from a life sentence, facing perilous odds and risking everything for justice.
