Summary

"Highwayman of the Void" by Dirk Wylie is a science fiction story from the last century about an outlaw named Steve Nolan coming back from what everyone thought was his death. He's after Alan Woller, the guy who used to be his boss, but framed him for doing bad things against the government. It's a tale of getting even, staying alive, and what's right and wrong when the future is full of space adventures and risks. Nolan, who everyone thinks died trying to escape prison, is headed to Port Avalon on Pluto to get back at Woller, who now has a big job at a shipping company. He runs into scary creatures and tricky places, and things get really intense when he faces Woller on a spaceship called "Dragonfly", fighting to survive. As Nolan deals with lies and fights, he also has to handle a young woman who has a connection to Woller to help drive the story and shows why Nolan is doing all of this. The story ends with a big fight that puts Nolan to the test and ties him together with Woller and the puzzling girl.
