Summary

** "Curiosities of the Sky" by Garrett Putman Serviss is a journey through the amazing world of astronomy, written in a way that makes complex ideas easy to grasp. It's like a guided tour of the cosmos, where readers discover the stunning realities of stars, constellations, and nebulae. The book starts by sparking our sense of wonder for things that are hard to explain, like "coal-sacks," which are dark spots in the sky where stars seem to be missing. Serviss uses these mysteries to hook readers and make them think about the never-ending size of space, the ever-changing nature of stars, and how everything in the sky is linked together, preparing them for an exploration of the universe's greatest puzzles. **
