"A Sweet Girl Graduate" by L.T. Meade is a story about Priscilla Penywern Peel, a young lady starting her college adventure at St Benet's College for Women. The story follows Priscilla as she goes from living a quiet life on a farm to facing the hard parts of college, like making friends, figuring out what she wants, and dealing with what society expects of her while taking care of her family. At first, we learn about Priscilla and her special bond with her Aunt Raby, who helped her get an education even though they didn't have much money. As Priscilla gets ready to leave home, she feels both thrilled and worried about what's to come. When she gets to college, she misses home and has a tough time fitting in with the other students because she's not fancy and doesn't have a lot of money. But she's determined to do well, and her first meetings with other students get things started for her to find herself and grow up in a new place full of chances and difficulties.
