Summary

"Prey of the Space Falcon" by Wilbur S. Peacock is a science fiction story set in a future where Curt Varga, nicknamed the Falcon, stands as a beacon of hope against the oppressive Food Administrators. Leading a band of rebels, the Falcon utilizes cunning and bravery when battling the Interplanetary Patrol and other enemies of his movement. Early in the story, Varga finds himself in the middle of a dangerous situation in a Martian club. While being hunted by enemy agents, he continues plotting to undermine the Food Administrators. The story uses flashbacks to show Varga's fight against the system that caused his family's tradgedy. In addition, his challenges grow when battling against the rise of the ilegal drug, smothalene, which threatens the his mission.
