"Colin Clink, Volume 3 (of 3)" by Charles Hooton is a story set long ago about a young man named Colin Clink who comes home one sad morning and finds himself mixed up in his family's problems, which are a tangled mess of hurt feelings and old grudges. Colin’s grandfather, Jerry, is filled with thoughts of revenge against Colin’s own father, Mr. Lupton, because of some bad things that happened in the past. Colin tries to talk to his grandfather, showing how much he cares about his family, but it's hard because the old hurts are so deep. Throughout the story, Colin is trying to figure out how to make things right and keep everyone safe, showing us how important it is to be loyal and find a way to forgive, even when it's really tough. He wants to heal his family and seeks justice in a world loaded with difficult choices and strong feelings.
