Summary

"Call Mr. Fortune" by H. C. Bailey is a crime story from the early 1900s about Dr. Reginald Fortune, a doctor with sharp eyes, and his journey into mystery solving. The adventure begins when Dr. Fortune gets ready to take over his father's job in Westhampton, but his plans change when he is called to help Archduke Maurice, who has been hurt in a strange accident. As Dr. Fortune starts to unravel the truth, he notices problems within the royal family like the strained bond between various dukes and with Archduchess Ianthe, who's loveliness might be hiding other things.
