"Dividing Waters" by I. A. R. Wylie is a story from the early 1900s about a young woman named Nora Ingestre who is dealing with hard choices, family duties, and her own dreams. The book looks at giving things up, finding yourself, and fighting between what you want and what people expect. It starts with Nora's family in trouble because of money problems caused by her father. Nora has to decide if she’ll give up her music studies for the family.
