"Little Yellow Wang-lo" by M. C. Bell is a charming story of a young boy who joins with some pigs to find some treasure and who escapes a hard life. Little Yellow Wang-lo lives on a houseboat with his father, and he tries to makes a living by selling ducks at the market. He wants to secure a pig for dinner, but he becomes involved in a collection of silly situations, which include an encounter with a giant eagle. Along the way, he encounters a fantastic hidden treasure. At the end of the story, his father's bad behavior leads to him losing, while his son is able to use the treasure to create a happy life where he doesn't need to do hard labor and can have a whole new set of clothes.
