Summary

"Little Black Sambo" by Helen Bannerman is a children’s story set in a jungle, about a small boy named Sambo who uses his wit to outsmart a group of hungry tigers. Sambo gives up his nice clothes to the tigers so he doesn't get eaten. The tigers, now proud of their new looks, start fighting each other over who is the fanciest which leads to them all being turned into a puddle of melted butter. Sambo’s father finds the butter and they use it to make awesome pancakes, showing how the family sticks together and enjoys the treat.
