Armenia and Her People; or, The Story of Armenia by an Armenian

"Armenia and Her People; or, The Story of Armenia" by George H. Filian is a late 1800s writing that paints a portrait of Armenia through its lands, past events, and traditions, and showcases the suffering and the strength of its people. From a firsthand perspective, it tells of Armenia's deep-rooted culture, its beautiful landscapes, and its resources, setting the scene for a discussion on the adversity the Armenian Christians face under Turkish rule and recent cruel acts against them. The author, a banished Armenian pastor, keeps the memory of those who died alive in his writing, urging others to know about Armenia's battles.
