Summary

"David Thompson, the Explorer" by Charles Norris Cochrane is a story about David Thompson's life, starting when he was a young orphan in England. The book follows Thompson’s journey as he grows into one of the most important land surveyors and explorers, who helps people understand the geography and fur trade of Canada.

Charles Norris Cochrane was a Canadian historian and philosopher who taught at the University of Toronto. He is known for his writings about the interaction between ancient Rome and emerging Christianity.
