The tale surrounds Eneas, once a servant, who embarks on a sometimes absurd quest to reunite with his former master after being separated during wartime. His journey, complicated by mistaken directions and the search for towns sharing similar names, becomes a series of entertaining misadventures, all while holding onto a precious family heirloom.
