"The River Motor Boat Boys on the Ohio; Or, The Three Blue Lights" by Harry Gordon is an adventure story about four boys named Clayton, Alex, Jule, and Cornelius who travel the Ohio River on their motorboat, the "Rambler" and get into tricky situations. The book starts with the boys stuck on the Kentucky side of the river because their motor is broken. They need to find spark plugs, so some of them go to the closest towns to find some.
