Summary

"The Haunter of the Ring" by Robert E. Howard is a chilling tale set in the early 1900s, where supernatural terror and ancestral curses grip the life of James Gordon. After marrying Evelyn Ash, James's reality turns into a nightmare as he suspects Evelyn is trying to kill him, and dark forces beyond her control take hold. Battling the belief that he's being haunted by his ancestor's past sins and contemplating reincarnation, James seeks the aid of his friend, John Kirowan. Their investigation uncovers a sinister plot involving an ancient, cursed ring and Joseph Roelocke, who holds Evelyn's soul captive through dark magic. As the story races towards its conclusion, Kirowan discovers the source of the supernatural evil, leading to a dramatic showdown where love, loyalty, and the power of the unknown are pushed to their limits.
