Summary

"The New Revelation" by Arthur Conan Doyle is a thought-provoking book that looks at the relationship between science and spiritual beliefs in the early 1900s. The book focuses on psychic research and tries to prove that there is life after death. Doyle, famous for writing Sherlock Holmes, uses his fame to argue that spiritualism and communicating with spirits should be taken seriously. At the beginning, Doyle explains how he became a believer after starting as someone who didn't believe in spiritualism. Initially, his medical training made him think death was the end. However, after going to séances and talking to people who believed in spirits, he started to change his mind. He shares what he learned from his own experiences and from the Psychical Research Society. Doyle carefully studies spiritual events, hoping to understand and prove that we can talk to spirits, while also dealing with people who doubt it.
