Summary

"An Enchanted Garden: Fairy Stories" by Mrs. Molesworth is a compilation of charming fairy tales for young children. The story opens with siblings Rafe and Alix, feeling bored and story-starved at the start of their Easter holiday. Driven by their imaginations and longing for adventure, they venture into the old Ladywood garden. There, they meet a magical wren who seems ready to offer them a whimsical quest. This sets the stage for a journey filled with wonder and discovery as the pair seeks to uncover the secrets of the garden and maybe even find the fairies they believe live there.
