Summary

"Rosy" by Mrs. Molesworth is a novel about a young girl learning to manage her emotions as she copes with family dynamics and the changes they bring. The story starts with Rosy, a spirited but sometimes difficult child, grappling with jealousy and frustration over a new girl, Beata, joining her family. Rosy's interactions with her brothers, Colin and Felix, show her conflicting feelings as she switches between being loving and easily angered. Her strong emotions, especially her desire for her mother's attention, drive the narrative as she faces the challenges of growing up and understanding her place within her family.
