Summary

"Nothing But the Truth" by Frederic Stewart Isham is a story set in the early 1900s about a young man named Bob Bennett whose family is hit hard financially after his father's business fails. Bob's life takes an interesting turn when his friends at the University Club dare him to tell only the truth for three weeks. This kicks off a series of events that make Bob's life very difficult, especially as he finds himself torn between helping his father and keeping up appearances with his friends, all while trying to win the affection of Miss Gwendoline Gerald. The novel explores what happens when someone tries to be completely honest in a world where people often pretend to be something they're not, showing the funny and touching moments that come with trying to live authentically.
