Summary

"Little Susan and her lamb" by American Sunday-School Union is an old-fashioned story for kids, teaching them about being good and kind. It centers on a girl named Susan who finds a small, helpless lamb that has been left alone. Showing great kindness, Susan takes the lamb home and looks after it. She nurses it back to health because she believes it is important to be kind to all living things, as she has been taught about being merciful. The lamb becomes Susan's friend and constant companion going where ever she goes. As the story unfolds, the lamb eventually helps Susan's family out, showing how good things can happen when you are nice to others and act to make their lives better.
