Plain Jane

"Plain Jane" by G. M. George is a charming children's story about a girl named Jemima Jane, who considers herself very good and proper; the story shows what happens when she deals with her cousin Ann and all the mischief Ann creates– which leads to all sorts of problems for Jane, turning her ideas about being proper upside down. Follow Jane has she tries to be good but is met with misadventures with her cousin that leads to disagreements and even being kidnapped by a circus; these experiences teach her about family, happiness, and what it means to be good.
