Summary

"Captain Lucy in the Home Sector" by Aline Havard is a story about Lucy Gordon, a nurse's aide, figuring out life after the war in Germany. Set after the fighting stopped, Lucy deals with tough issues like being far from home and the worry that her brother, Bob, is still in danger. Lucy is coping with what happened in the war, even though there is now peace. She's working with the American Army in Coblenz, she misses her family a lot. She makes friends with other soldiers, like Larry Eaton, and decides to help people at a hospital. At the same time, she remembers good times with her old friends and gets ready to meet new people, including a surprising face from the past, Captain de la Tour.
