Summary

"Right Tackle Todd" by Ralph Henry Barbour is a story about a young man named Jim Todd who goes to high school and tries to find his place. The book follows Jim as he deals with the ups and downs of school life and learns about friendship and facing difficulties, mainly when it comes to football. We learn about Clem Harland and Martin Gray, who are roommates, as they talk about needing different kinds of people at Alton Academy. Then, Jim Todd shows up, and he's different from everyone else because of how he dresses and acts. He wants to be on the football team, but he doesn't believe in himself. The book seems to be about being yourself, never giving up, and working together.
