"Ye of Little Faith" by Rog Phillips is a science fiction story set in the 1950s that looks at the dangerous side of ideas and belief. It tells about strange disappearances that happen after people think about an idea that reality isn't based on logic. The main character, Martin Grant, comes up with this idea, and then his friends start to vanish. Martin's son, Fred, tries to figure out what is happening when all of this is going on. His search for answers makes him think hard about what's real and what's not, raising big questions about what we believe and how we see the world.
