The Heavenly Twins

"The Heavenly Twins" by Sarah Grand is a story about women in the late 1800's. It's about strong women, like Evadne, who want to understand and change the world around them. She doesn't agree with how her father treats women and wants to learn about the world for herself. We are also introduced to twins, Angelica and Diavolo, who are always getting into trouble, but also show how innocent and curious children can be while opening discussion about society. The book talks about what it means to be a woman, how people see each other, and what happens when people don't fit in a society that's changing quickly.
