"Nan Sherwood at Rose Ranch; Or, The Old Mexican's Treasure" by Annie Roe Carr is a story of friendship, and finding treasure. Rhoda's character grows as she navigates the pressures of fitting in, old traditions and the promise of hidden riches, resulting in a blend of humor, and drama among the girls.
