I've Been Thinking; or, the Secret of Success

"I've Been Thinking; or, The Secret of Success" by A. S. Roe is a story about two brothers, Jim and Ned Montjoy, who dream of escaping their family's hard life on a small farm. Tired of seeing their crops go to waste in their secluded area, the brothers decide to take a chance and sell their vegetables to soldiers at a nearby fort. Facing the realities of life while in their mother's care, one brother's ambition sparks a fire in the other as they begin scheming and planning for greatness and success for their family, beginning their journey out to success.
