Hideout

"Hideout" by Fox B. Holden is a science fiction book from the 1950s that tells the story of Robbin Cutlass, a space pirate trying to escape a bounty on his head by fleeing into the past. After a run-in with the Tri-Planet Entente Space Patrol that destroys his ship, the "Vulture", Robbin seeks out Doc Raven, a brilliant scientist who offers him a device to travel through time. Moving through different eras of history, Robbin faces new dangers and repeats old habits, meeting both allies and enemies as he grapples with his identity as a pirate and tries to outrun those hunting him.
