Summary

"The Red Hell of Jupiter" by Paul Ernst is a science fiction adventure that throws Captain Brand Bowen and Lieutenant Dex Harlow into the heart of Jupiter's dangerous Red Spot after multiple expeditions go missing. Called back from leave, Captain Bowen is tasked by Commander Stone to learn about the whereabouts of the lost ships. Bowen and Harlow enter Jupiter's atmosphere where they face unforeseen challenges and are pulled into the Red Spot's orbit. There, they discover grotesque, pipe-like aliens called Rogans who are enslaving their own people, forcing Bowen and Harlow to fight for their survival against the terrors hidden within the gas giant and to find a way back to Earth before they meet the same dark fate as those who came before them.
