Summary

"Age of Anxiety" by Robert Silverberg is a tale set in a future where kids take a drug that makes them not worry, follows Larry as he turns seventeen and must decide if he wants to keep taking the drug, go back to being a kid, or face the real world. Larry goes on a journey to understand what it means to worry and be responsible. He learns from different people that worrying is actually a sign that he's ready to grow up and face challenges. Robert Silverberg is a prolific American science fiction author and editor. He is a multiple winner of both Hugo and Nebula Awards, a member of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame, and a Grand Master of SF since 2004.
