"What Will He Do with It? — Volume 02" by Edward Bulwer Lytton is a story set in 19th-century England, that shares the lives of Lionel Haughton and Guy Darrell while looking at family bonds, where someone fits in society, and who they are as people in romantic and historical rural settings. It starts with Lionel Haughton going to Fawley Manor, owned by his cousin, Guy Darrell. Lionel's trip through a beautiful countryside shows that he is someone who thinks deeply. When he gets there, he's not sure if Darrell will accept him. Darrell's character is imposing and sad because of his past. As they get to know each other, issues about class and where they come from rise to the surface; Lionel finds out about his family's history and his mother's stigma, which makes things tougher.
