"Bruce of the Circle A" by Harold Titus is an early 1900's story that follows Ann Lytton’s arrival in the Arizona town of Yavapai, as she seeks her husband, Ned. Ann's journey immediately presents her with the roughness of frontier life when she hears the sharp crack of a gunshot and discovers that she's walked into a world filled with danger. A man named Bruce Bayard is introduced and hints at complex relationships that drive the unfolding drama of human strife and the possibility of redemption in the wide-open West.
