"Pink Gods and Blue Demons" by Cynthia Stockley is a story that takes place back in the day in Kimberley, South Africa and centers around Loree Temple, a young woman seeking more than what she has. Tired of her regular life, Loree dreams of excitement, especially when she realizes that her life is not as interesting anymore. She is also married to a guy in the cold-storage business named Pat Temple. The excitement around the diamond industry sparks her interest in the possibilities that may come.
