Marjorie Dean, High School Senior

"Marjorie Dean, High School Senior" by Josephine Chase is a story about Marjorie Dean as she deals with a new year of high school and the various problems that come with it. She is now a senior and must face tough personal challenges, discover what true friendship really means, and overcome social obstacles. Marjorie's relationships with her friends are tested, especially with the mysterious Mignon La Salle and Veronica Browning which makes things much more complicated. As the story begins, Marjorie is involved in intricate dramas with those around her as tension rises on the school grounds. Then, Marjorie wants to help Lucy Warner find a job.
