The Boy Scouts of the Air in Indian Land

"The Boy Scouts of the Air in Indian Land" by Gordon Stuart is an adventure story about a group of Boy Scouts in New Mexico in the early 1900s. The heart of the story introduces Jerry Crawford and his friends awaiting a visit from Fred Windham, a boy from Cleveland; they're keen to make a new friend and explore the area. They're also excited by the mystery of local sheep being killed, and so, their lives take an exciting and dangerous turn when the new boy, Fred, joins the troop. They encounter a runaway horse and bravely work together only to encounter Carlos, an Apache native boy. The themes show friendship and courage.
