"The White Cipher" by Henry Leverage is a thrilling crime story from the early 1900s. It follows Chester Fay, a talented safecracker just out of prison, who gets pulled into a dangerous mission by Scotland Yard. They need his skills to crack a secret code connected to German dyes during wartime. Fay has to decide if he'll help the police or go back to his old life of crime while dealing with lies, old connections, and maybe even a double-cross, especially when Saidee Isaacs, someone important from his past, shows up again. Fay has to face his inner struggles if he is going to make it out of this dangerous game alive.
