Summary

"The Were-Wolf" by Clemence Housman is a supernatural story from the 1890s that looks closely at what makes us human. It's about a woman named White Fell; she is both gorgeous and dangerous, making everyone wonder who she really is and where evil comes from. When White Fell shows up on a snowy night, weird things start happening at a faraway farm, and the youngest brother, Christian, thinks she might be a werewolf who killed two people he cared about. Christian tries to rescue his brother Sweyn from White Fell, leading to a frightening pursuit in the snow. The book ends with a sad showdown where the brothers have to decide what they believe in and understand what love and giving up everything really mean, all mixed with old stories and strong feelings.
