Summary

"Strange Exodus" by Robert Abernathy, tells of a man named Westover struggling to survive after massive monsters ravage Earth, consuming all life. Left alone in a ruined world, Westover discovers he can survive as a type of parasite on these creatures. The story then follows his tough journey, as he comes to terms with the psychological impact of this new way of life and the physical challenges that come with it. Westover later meets other survivors that engage in philosophical debates about what it means to be human and what humanity has done, while they try to figure out how they can live with the monsters and balance survival with being a sustainable "endoparasite."
