Summary

"Charley's Log: A Story of Schoolboy Life" by Emma Leslie is a tale of a boy named Captain Charles Stewart who dreams of sailing the seas, and finds himself in the unfamiliar territory of school, where he encounters friendship, difficulties, and expectations from family, chronicling life lessons. About the Author

Emma Leslie was the pseudonym of Emma Boultwood (1838–1909), an English writer of children's books and historical fiction. She wrote more than one hundred books.
