Summary

"Knock Three Times!" by Marion St. John Webb, is a whimsical fantasy tale for young readers about twins, Jack and Molly, whose ordinary ninth birthday takes a magically unexpected twist. It all starts with a strange package from their Aunt Phoebe which contains a peculiar grey pumpkin pincushion. When the pincushion magically grows and rolls away, they follow it through a secret doorway in a tree which leads the children to the Possible World. Here, they discover a land in turmoil because of the wicked Grey Pumpkin, a being of immense power who has broken free and threatens to bring chaos. The twins are tasked with a life-altering quest to locate the mysterious Black Leaf, the only thing that can stop him.
