Summary

"Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle" by Edgar Rice Burroughs is a gripping tale of a man raised by apes in the heart of Africa. In the story, Tarzan's world is a dance between survival and identity as he struggles with both the dangers of the wild and human encroachment. When the majestic elephant Tantor's peaceful jungle life is disrupted by hunters, Tarzan finds himself caught between two worlds. After a fateful encounter with the hunters, Tarzan is captured by Arabic raiders led by Sheik Ibn Jad, who are hungry for ivory and slaves, changing Tarzan's world forever. This puts Tarzan on a collision course with those looking to exploit the jungle, where he becomes a legend, the "Lord of the Jungle."
