Six little Bunkers at Uncle Fred's

"Six Little Bunkers at Uncle Fred's" by Laura Lee Hope is a children's story about the six Bunker siblings, Russ, Rose, Violet, Laddie, Margy, and Mun Bun, as they go on a big trip to visit their Uncle Fred's ranch in Montana for the summer. At first, they are playing in their attic, which they enjoy by riding their homemade scooter. They get a little bit of a scare when a stranger shows up unexpectedly, and they think that he is a thief. It turns out to be their Uncle Fred, who has come to bring them and their parents to see his farm where they will stay during the summer months. The kids are very excited to get to see what their uncle's ranch looks like, but there is a mysterious spring and a missing cattle that they will have to deal with too.
