Summary

"The Politeness of Princes and Other School Stories" by P. G. Wodehouse is a collection of funny stories that looks at life for boys a British boarding school in the early 1900s. Each story is a light-hearted view into the lives of these young men, dealing with issues of being on time, being friends, and trying to win. The initial story shares the challenges of G. Montgomery Chapple, a boy who simply cannot be on time and who comically deals with his teachers, friends, and all the situations that arise from his lateness. Chapple tries many strange ways to solve his problem, like messing with clocks and reducing the amount of blankets he has, all of which make his issues worse and highlight the funny stress of living at school.
